PivotPilot is an analytics and reporting platform for Amazon sellers. It is operated by Unybex Inc., a company incorporated in Japan.

This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. By using PivotPilot, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register for PivotPilot, we collect your name, email address, and organization details. This information is used to create and manage your account.

Amazon Advertising Data

With your explicit authorization, PivotPilot accesses advertising data from your Amazon Ads account via the Amazon Advertising API. This includes:

  • Campaign structure and configuration
  • Ad group and keyword data
  • Performance metrics (impressions, clicks, spend, sales)
  • Budget and bidding information

Access is limited to the advertising data necessary to provide analytics and recommendations. We do not access order history, customer personal data, or any data outside the scope of the Amazon Advertising API.

Usage Data

We collect basic usage logs to operate and improve the platform. This includes page interactions, feature usage, and error reports. We do not use third-party behavioral tracking or advertising pixels.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Analyze campaign data and surface advertising insights and optimization recommendations
  • Provide dashboard analytics and performance reporting
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the platform
  • Respond to support requests
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the service

We do not use your advertising data for resale, cross-customer profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating PivotPilot on your behalf.

Amazon Advertising API Access

PivotPilot connects to the Amazon Advertising API using Amazon's official OAuth authorization flow (Login with Amazon). The following applies to this integration:

  • Explicit authorization: You must actively grant PivotPilot access to your Amazon Ads account. No data is accessed without your consent.
  • Revocation: You may revoke PivotPilot's access to your Amazon account at any time through your Amazon account security settings or through the PivotPilot platform. Revoking access immediately stops further data retrieval.
  • Scope limitation: Access is restricted to advertising data required for analytics and recommendations. We do not request or store data beyond this scope.
  • Token handling: OAuth access tokens are encrypted at rest and are not exposed in logs or error messages.

Data Storage and Security

PivotPilot is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. We apply the following security practices:

  • OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption
  • Access to stored data is restricted to authorized internal systems
  • Tokens and credentials are never logged in plaintext
  • Access controls limit which systems and personnel can reach sensitive data

No security measure is absolute. In the event of a data breach that affects your information, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your Amazon advertising data. We do not share your advertising data with third parties for their own commercial purposes.

We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Infrastructure and hosting providers that are necessary to operate the platform. These providers are contractually restricted from using your data for any other purpose.
  • Legal requirements: When required by applicable law, regulation, or valid legal process.

Data Retention

We retain your account and advertising data for as long as your account is active. Upon account termination, your data will be deleted within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Revoke Amazon access: You may disconnect your Amazon Ads account from PivotPilot at any time. This stops all further data retrieval from Amazon.
  • Request data deletion: You may request that we delete your account and associated data.
  • Request information: You may request a description of the data we hold about you.
